TIME SCHEDULE FOR A PSYCHOLOGICAL EXAMINATION AND ASSESSMENT CENTER:

Candidates taking part in a psychological examination or assessment center typically start the day at about nine o’clock in the morning and round out the programme at about four o’clock in the afternoon. At about one o‘clock in the afternoon, candidates are given the opportunity to have lunch in one of the nearby cafes.

On the day of the examination, candidates will be confronted with a number of psychological tests, a variety of sensorimotor tests and different practical simulations. In addition, they will be interviewed by an IAP psychologist. The psychologist will also discuss the findings of the examination with the candidate and write the psychological report.

The intensity and duration of the examination regime depends on the purpose of the examination and the competency profile that the airline or flight school has provided to the IAP.
